Ryan Newman Competes In WIX® Filters Chevrolet For Sonoma 350

Second Race to Feature WIX Brand this Season

A member of Richard Childress Racing (RCR) and No. 31 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Ryan Newman will race in the Sonoma 350 with WIX Filters’ paint schemes this weekend.

This is the second race to feature the WIX Filters brand – the third and final race with WIX livery will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. Last season, WIX’s collaboration with RCR produced a championship-contenting effort with just one-point separating Newman from hoisting the Sprint Cup trophy.

The Sonoma 350 is an annual 110-lap, 218.9 mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points race held at the Sonoma Raceway in California. The 2.52-mile road course hosted its first NASCAR race in 1989. NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series consists of 36 points races, including a 10-race playoff to crown a champion called the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
