Harvick posted a 21st-place finish in the race after he was involved in an accident on lap 185 of the 191-lap race.

Harvick has now led 23 times in 35 restrictor plate starts for 194 total laps.

Tony Stewart leads Kyle Busch by one race (7-6) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings entering the November 1 AMP Energy 500 at Talladega (Ala) Superspeedway.

We had gone to the bottom and it looked like a line was going to start forming behind us and we were going to get back up there and then all of a sudden Ryan Newman dropped out of the air and lands on us. I don’t know what you can do about that. It’s kind of how our season has gone. Once again we had a fast race car and that’s what counts. One of these days this bad luck will go away.
