LAS VEGAS -- Joe Magliochetti, chairman and CEO of Dana Corp., was presented the Triangle Award, MEMA’s highest honor, at a reception Monday night.
“The Triangle Award...is presented to Joe Magliochetti to honor his sustained contributions and leadership in advancing the long-term interests of the motor vehicle products industry,” said Chris Bates, president and CEO of MEMA. “Joe exemplifies the philosophy of this award - many of the most important contributions to the industry are made by those who work quietly and effectively, often in partnership with others, to accomplish great things. His ongoing contributions to industry education, to improved industry management practices and to the enhancement of our industry’s positive role in society are remarkable,” Bates said.

In 1985, he returned to the United States as group vice president of North American Operations. In 1992, Magliochetti became president of North American Operations and was appointed to the Dana Policy Committee.
He was promoted to president of Dana Corp. in 1996, and was elected to the company’s Board of Directors later that year. In 1997, he was appointed chairman of Dana’s World Operating Committee.
