Dana Underhood Group Announces Organizational Changes; Promotes Shively to VP of Marketing and PR
Toledo, OH, Thursday, January 09, 2003
Dana Corp. has announced a number of organizational changes within its Underhood Group and Clevite Engine Parts division. Among the announcements is the promotion of long-time employee Terry Shively.

Shively has been promoted to vice president of marketing and public relations for Dana Automotive Aftermarket Group (DAAG). In this newly created position, he will report to Terry McCormack, president of the DAAG.

Shively has 32 years of experience in the industry -- within the Dana Aftermarket Sales Division; Victor, Wix and Clevite. His assignments have included product planning, sales, OEM account management, marketing and general management.

"The convolutions and dynamics of today's aftermarket have made this new DAAG-level position a vital necessity," said Johh Washbish, president of the Automotive Aftermarket Underhood Group division of Dana Corp. "A look at Terry's background shows why he is uniquely qualified for the job. Terry has 'grown up' in an aftermarket that has become very complex, and our group is fortunate that he takes with him a deep, hands-on understanding of our marketplace."

Clevite has also announced the following organizational changes, which are effective immediately:

Ron Marr, manager of Clevite's Olive Branch Master Distribution Center, will assume responsibility for all Clevite assembly and distribution facilities. Brian Trulove, manager of the Collierville assembly plant and John Black, manager of the Churubusco assembly plant and distribution center, will report to Marr, who reports directly to Washbish.

Rick Bruback, director of information technology for Clevite, and Bob Landeck, division controller, will report to Al Alden, Underhood Group (UHG) controller.

Clevite's CARQUEST and NAPA account managers, Richard Odom and David Moose, respectively, will report to Rocky Miller, UHG senior vice president of sales.

Don Sitter, director of technical services, will report to Max Dull, UHG vice president of product management.

Jeff Alexander, director of application management, and Kaye Anderson-Smith, Clevite's executive administrative assistant, will report to Jerry McCabe, vice president of marketing for the Dana Underhood Group.

"The automotive aftermarket is evolving into a more streamlined, efficient industry," said Washbish. "Through our reorganization efforts we are evolving with it, not only organizationally, but philosophically and technologically as well."
