Denny Hamlin was the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race in the 2008 Crown Royal 400 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Hamlin led 381 of the 400 laps, setting the record for most laps led by a driver in a 400-lap race at the .75-mile speedway.

Kyle Busch leads Jimmie Johnson by three races (9-6) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings entering the September 6 Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond.

Jeff Gordon was the WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race in the 2007 Chevy Rock & Roll 400, leading four times for 191 laps.

The record for most different leaders in a race at Richmond is 16 in the 1994 September race.

The record for most lead changes in a race at Richmond is 25 (twice) most recently in the 1996 Crown Royal 400 (spring race).
