WIX Filters Wins Automotive Communications Award

WIX Filters won a national Automotive Communications Award (ACA) for its bold and innovative 2005 marketing campaign that highlights WIX’s premium filtration products as an important component of proper vehicle maintenance.
“The strong imagery and aggressive messaging of our 2005 marketing campaign convey both the superior quality and performance of WIX Filters and their integral role in effective car care,” said WIX Filters Brand Manager Bruce Johnston, who accepted the award at the industry’s AAPEX trade show. “We are honored that WIX Filters’ marketing efforts were recognized not only for their creativity but also for their ability to inform consumers about the importance of proper vehicle maintenance.”
The Automotive Communications Awards, presented by the Car Care Council Women’s Board and the Automotive Communication Council, honor excellence in automotive aftermarket advertising, communications, public relations and marketing. WIX Filters received the Automotive Communications Award for its business-to-consumer campaign which featured television, radio and print advertisements and point-of-sale materials developed by Charlotte-based creative marketing communications firm Wray Ward Laseter.
