Newman Will Showcase WIX Paint Scheme for Three Races in 2015

WIX Filters®, a global manufacturer of filtration products, is sponsoring Ryan Newman for three NASCAR Whelen Modified races in 2015.

As part of the sponsorship agreement with Ryan Newman Motorsports, the No. 7, car, owned by Gary Putnam Racing, will receive WIX Filters alpha bravo paint schemes when Newman competes in the New England 100 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 18; the Bush’s Beans 150 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Aug. 19; and the F.W. Webb 100 in New Hampshire on Sept. 26.

“WIX is excited to continue its partnership with Ryan Newman and the motorsports team with the 2015 Whelen Modified series,” said Jennifer Gibson, brand manager for WIX Filters. “Ryan brings incredible energy and integrity to the WIX brand, and it’s great to add these three races to our primary sponsorship of his No. 31 car during NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series.”

This is the 30th anniversary season of the Whelen Modified Tour, which is one of four NASCAR-sanctioned regional touring series across the U.S. This stock car racing series is NASCAR’s oldest and one of two open-wheeled divisions.
