Remote Mount Bases These remote mount bases may be used in a variety of applications including lube, fuel, hydraulic and transmission. They feature double inlet and outlet horizontal ports. Two brass plugs are included for blocking off the unused ports. Three mounting holes are provided. A variety of filters may be selected from the list below. Note: When remote mountings are used for spin-on lube, hydraulic and transmission applications, the system must be protected with a bypass relief valve. The lube and hydraulic filters listed all have built in bypass valves. Caution: When selecting a filter for use on these remote bases, size, flow rate and performance characteristics must be considered. Contact the WIX Technical Service Department for assistance.
